Specifications include, but are not limited to: Establish a blanket supply agreement for flexible delineator posts for the Idaho Transportation Department. Delineator posts shall be flexible with an omnidirectional impact design to withstand multiple vehicular, snowplow, or heavy wet snow impacts from all angles. The post shall have an anchor/base system which allows posts to maintain a vertical position when installed on slopes or on uneven surfaces. The anchor/base system shall allow for post replacement without replacement of the anchor/base. Anchor/base shall have a provision for post retention allowing replacement of a damaged post without specialized tools. Posts shall be available in standard colors of white, yellow, orange and other special colors as specified by the ordering District. The posts shall also be available in various lengths that allow a minimum of thirty-six (36) inches of post above the roadway shoulder.
