The City of Ketchum (“City”) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms and independent contractors to provide professional services for implementing sidewalk enhancement construction projects. This solicitation is conducted in accordance with Idaho Code § 67-2320, governing the procurement of professional services. The City will evaluate SOQs and select the most qualified respondent to negotiate a design/build professional services agreement. The selected firm or individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to sidewalk construction and improvement projects. The selected consultant will work closely with the City Project Manager and Engineers in a design/build manner to oversee and manage sidewalk enhancement projects over fiscal year 2026, including but not limited to: - 6th St & Leadville ADA Improvements (~230' of sidewalk) - Huck & Paddle Corner ADA Improvements (~160' of sidewalk) - Backwoods Sneak Route (~180' of sidewalk) - 8th St Sidewalk, Washington to Warm Springs (~650' of sidewalk) - Spruce Ave Bike Route (~110' of sidewalk) - Miscellaneous Drive Apron & Paver Repairs - Town Square Hardscape & Landscape Enhancements (~2,000 sq ft) Responsibilities include: - Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes, including ADA standards. - Conducting inspections and quality assurance reviews. - Coordinating with City PM on project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. - Coordinating with sub-contractors, City staff, and other stakeholders. - Providing technical guidance on construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
