Questions & Answers (Q&A) and soliciation requirement clarifications:
1. For the #4 Rock. This is not for "Crushed Concrete". Any industry standard #4 Rock or " #4 crushed rock", that is a Subbase aggregate material, meeting this minimum specification and the ASTM requirements is acceptable.
2. This requirement requires the delivery of poured/mixed concrete. For clarification, The concrete pump truck is being requested during the concrete placement for the footer and pedestal portion of the project. The primary reason is safety, keeping the concrete truck away from the ledge to prevent cave-in. As well as reduce splattering and shifting of the steel reinforcement as it is a 4’ drop. The work site is relatively open, allowing the truck to move as needed. The building dimensions are approximately 110’ x 50’, maximum expected reach is 150’ depending on the operator’s preference for vehicle movement.

REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ)
In accordance with FAR PART 12.603(c)(2)(i): This is a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation (COMBO) for commercial products or
commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be
issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses
are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). 2025-03
All interested parties are instructed to review the attached Solicitation / RFQ Document and the attached specifications for this requirement.
QUOTES are due No Later Than: 5 JUNE 2025 by 12:00 PM (Noon) MST Local Time.
This requirement is for the purchase and delivery of Concrete, Base Course, #4 Rock, and Sand in accordance with the attached Specifications.
Offerors are highly encouraged to ensure that they thoroughly read the attached RFQ document and follow the instructions.
Specifically, the Addendums to FAR 52. 212-1, Instructions to Offerors and 52.212-2, Evaluation Criteria.
Offerors must include a complete Price Quote for all Line Items along with their Technical Evaluation Proposal:
The Technical Evaluation Proposal Must include a sufficient description of the proposed Materials/Items in accordance with the specifications of each item listed in Paragraph/Section 2 of the Specifications document.
Additionally, Offerors must include the items listed in Paragraph 2.5. Tests, Inspections, and Verification documents for technical acceptability.
For the Base Course, #4 Rock, and Sand – All items indicated in Para. 2.5. b. and for the concrete, all items indicated in Para 2.5. c
As well as the location/source/origin of each item.
