Specifications for the Program: (SPEC-1) Through the Program, IDJC’s juvenile students shall receive training in the following fields and when courses are successfully completed, shall receive industry-recognized certifications: Agriculture Science Business, Marketing, Finance, IT and Media Career Exploration Cosmetology and Barbering Family and Consumer Sciences Health Science Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security Middle School Digital Literacy and Career Exploration Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Transportation: Automotive, Diesel and Small Engines (SPEC-2) The Program shall make trainings available both on-line and printable so that students can take training off-line. (SPEC-3) The Program shall provide a site license for at least ten (10) teachers and must provide for at least one hundred fifty (150) certification vouchers. (SPEC-4) The Program shall not provide OSHA-related courses and certifications. (SPEC-5) All courses combined must result in a certification (certifications do not have to be accredited). (SPEC-6) The Program must be accessible with a variety of devices (desktop, laptop, mobile). (SPEC-7) The Program must be accessible with a variety of operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Mac and iOS. (SPEC-8) The Program must be accessible with a variety of web browsers including but not limited to Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, Safari, and Opera. (SPEC-9) The Program must be hosted on Contractor-owned systems and hardware. The Contractor is responsible for all maintenance of systems and hardware. (SPEC-10) The Program must have functionality for IDJC administrators (“administrators”) to create a historical report, which must be exportable. (SPEC-11) The Program must have functionality so that juveniles have access to history of their progress and have both view and download access after the juvenile is no longer under IDJC’s jurisdiction. (SPEC-12) The Program must have a ninety-eight percent (98%) uptime or greater. (SPEC-13) The Program must be fully web-based or web-enabled allowing the flexibility to operate business functions over the internet or intranet. (SPEC-14) The Program must be hosted off site and have no footprint internal to the State of Idaho Network. (SPEC-15) The Program must be generically and universally upgradeable as a result of natural product evolution. This requirement is inclusive of the Program's underlying infrastructure. (SPEC-16) The Program must have user access provided through a web portal using modern internet web browsers. (SPEC-17) The Program must include hosting services for the development, testing/verification, training, and production environments that will be used to develop, maintain, and operate the Program. (SPEC-18) The Program must have functionality that provides an administrator the flexibility to control the timing of a test to include releasing a test to the juvenile, pausing a test, and ending the test based upon the dynamic nature of the classroom. (SPEC-19) The Program must not have videos that require or allow the student to access the internet (such as YouTube) and must not allow contact with anyone outside of IDJC. Videos must be embedded within the Program. (SPEC-20) The Program must have functionality: So that at least four (4) administrators can view all of the students, teachers and their records; So that the administrators can troubleshoot Program issues; So that the administrators can add, modify and delete students, teachers and their records; and, So that the administrators can run reports.
