Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Moscow is planning an extensive redesign of their website. The organization is looking for an innovative design and approach to developing an inviting and exciting experience for multiple user groups. With a multi-faceted departmental structure, the ability to provide for a multitude of needs with consideration of a variety of wants is beneficial. The City understands the site cannot be expected to be all things to all people. We’re looking for an innovative approach that isn’t often seen on municipal websites, taking information and transparency to a place that is exciting and engaging. The Administration Department is responsible for the website including all content and functionality. The contact for this project is Jen Pfiffner, Assistant City Supervisor. Technical support of the project will be provided by the Information Systems Department with a team of City employees to be designated as content managers. In general, the work includes all labor, graphic design, graphic content and other resources necessary to develop and deliver a website of professional appearance and function in accordance with industry standards. It is desired that the new website will be developed using the WordPress or similar open web authoring platform to allow for ease of content migration, and future site maintenance and updating of by City staff. All new website format and content shall be mobile optimized to allow for ease of navigation and content delivery via mobile devices.
