Drawings The groove of the carbide inserts shall be milled in the center of the blade edge. Center of holes shall be in line within 1/32 inch of established centerline. Lengths of finished blade assemblies shall be 4 feet – See Appendix B – Price Sheet for requested quantities. TUNGSTEN CARBIDE INSERTS The inserts shall be high shock WC grade virgin tungsten carbide with cobalt content not less than 11% or more than 12.5%. Density: 14.1 Minimum to 14.6 Maximum GMSLCC Hardness: 87.5 Minimum to 89.0 Maximum Rc. “A” Scale Transverse Rupture Strength: Minimum 300,000 PSI Inserts shall be a trapezoid design of the following Dimensions: Height: 0.635 inch +/- 0.005 inch (long angle) Width: 0.365 inch +/- 0.010 inch Length: 1 inch nominal Bottom Angle: 25 degrees with a nose radius of 1/16 inch minimum BRAZING AND ASSEMBLY The brazing material shall be high strength alloy type.
