Specifications include, but are not limited to: Effectively administering security rounds throughout the Museum by physically walking around and conducting a Watchman Tour on each floor to ascertain that there are no deficiencies of safety, security or maintenance issues. The Watchman Tour shall be made twice per shift (one upon arrival and one before departure of shift). Closed circuit television/video cameras located in the security room on the first floor is to be monitored periodically. 1)Check all exterior/interior doors. 2)Turn off lights and escalators 3)Responsible for arming and disarming security alarms in all designated exhibit areas and responding at anytime to emergency calls. 4)Conduct continuous visual and audio surveillance of Museum surroundings and its contents inside the Security Monitor room located on the first floor of the museum. 5)Ensure safety and security of building when occupied and/or unoccupied and staff areas for individuals in the building. Check logbook for individuals in the building before and after work hours and effectively enforce sign-in/out log procedures. 6)Security Guard Supervisor to meet with the Contract Administrator within 3 days after notification of award to review the requirements of the contract.
