Summary of Scope The designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) will advocate, plan, contract, and evaluate services for older Idahoans and vulnerable adults within the assigned Planning and Service Area (PSA), delivering comprehensive community-based services while adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations. Objectives and Expectations Provide access to a broad spectrum of services that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for older Idahoans and vulnerable adults, ensuring protection through programs like Adult Protective Services and Long-Term Care Ombudsman. Facilitate a successful transition from existing AAAs to the new AAA by July 1, 2026, maintaining service continuity and engaging stakeholders by honoring commitments to focal points in existing AAA local plans
