The STATE is seeking a CONTRACTOR to study data on all assessments conducted since the implementation of the YASI assessment tool. A series of fixed follow-up samples (e.g., 12-months, 2-years, 3-years, etc till current) will need to be assembled to evaluate the predictive validity of the YASI scores. Both Pre-screen (Risk and Protective factors) and Full assessments overall scores and domains (Overall Dynamic Risk, Overall Dynamic Protective Factors) must be included. The study must assess the predictive validity of the assessment model using the "Area Under the Curve" as the index of predictive accuracy. Predictive Validity for multiple recidivism measures, as available, must be included in the study. The study must also examine the performance of the current cut-points for overall Pre-Screen and Full Assessment scores with the potential for customizing the cut-points for the STATE. The STATE time of performance is approximately 3-months. The purpose is to evaluate the YASI in Hawaii through an evidence-based model through processes which may include an implementation plan, documentation process, and research (outcomes, process, fidelity).
