Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Conducts on-site, virtual, scheduled, and unannounced inspections of production centers and dispensaries to determine compliance with state and federal regulations. b. Meets with licensees and facility administrators and personnel following inspections to review findings verbally. Weigh comments and rebuttals to assure findings prior to submitting them in writing to the administrator, licensee, and/or governing body, noting deficiencies which will require a written plan of correction. c. Reviews the licensee’s written plan of correction for accuracy and appropriateness and to ensure correction will be obtained. Based on collected information, write recommendations for issuing or renewing a license including the justification for acceptance or denial. d. Based on findings, recommends penalties including termination of license when a licensee is determined not to meet state regulatory requirements. Compile records and data to support recommendations and submits these to supervisor/manager for appropriate action. e. Makes determinations of when supplemental inspections or site visits are warranted to ensure continuing compliance with the written plan of correction.
