A. This project consists of furnishing and paying for all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to install a new vertical turbine pumping unit at Well #2, install new valves, piping, flow tube, ventilation, and instrumentation at Well #1, #2 and 201' Reservoir, gauge board, temporary and permanent electrical work including MCC, power and control wiring, pullboxes, conduits, and lighting, Control Building improvements, connection of new water lines, purge line, retaining wall, security fencing, trenching and site work, and all appurtenant work at Maakua Wells, all in accordance with the plans and specifications, in place complete, ready for operation. B. The scope of work identified in this section is the minimum required experience as it pertains to the contractor questionnaire in the Bid Solicitation. a. Installation of vertical turbine pumps and appurtenant work including vertical turbine pumps and motors, valves, piping, and gauge board on a potable water system. b. Installation of MCC and appurtenant work including power and control wiring and conduits on a potable water system.
