The Department of Human Services, Office of Youth Services (OYS), is requesting proposals from qualified applicants to provide statewide intensive mentoring services to court involved youth on probation and youth re-entering community from the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility (HYCF). The intensive mentoring services provide mentoring and supportive opportunities to justice-involved youth to promote a stable foundation for ongoing success in various aspects of the youth’s life, including meeting terms and conditions of probation and/or post release supervision, and re-entry support. The overarching goal is to provide opportunities that include, but are not limited to, building healthy relationships, prosocial behaviors, skill building, social support, advocacy, educational and employment support, and engage in healthy recreation.
