A. Wastewater Pumps – Monthly Services 1. Check, service, and update all recording charts. Service log update shall, at minimum, include date, time in and out, name of person performing work, status of equipment, action taken, and unusual and impending problem, if any. 2. Check and lubricate all pump packings, tighten packing glands as required. 3. Clean and flush drip reservoirs and drains as needed. 4. Check float and all control switches and alarm systems. 5. Check all other equipment and service/adjust as required. 6. Inspect float, tube, float cables and fasteners as applicable. 7. Operate vent plugs, drain and flush venturi tube chamber. 8. Test alarm system (coordinate test with Airport Maintenance Superintendent)
