The selected vendor would have the responsibility of managing applications for WRIPs, assessing the eligibility of the FSP to receive a WRIP, and providing the payments to eligible FSPs at an amount and frequency set by the HVSU. The vendor providing this service would need to make payments and invoice the DOH to be reimbursed for the monies paid out through the WRIP program. Additionally, the vendor would be responsible for managing the communication for the program, including maintaining a web site with information for FSPs relating to the program, and answering questions from FSPs relating to the administration of the WRIP program (e.g., eligibility, funding amounts, etc.). The HVSU specifically seeks comments from interested vendors about the following: 1. Do you have any questions or concerns about providing a service of this nature that the HVSU could clarify in a future Request for Proposals? 2. What challenges or considerations do you foresee in managing WRIP applications and determining FSP eligibility? 3. What systems or processes would you recommend for managing applications and verifying eligibility efficiently and securely?
