External factory installed heavy duty auxiliary transmission cooler Automatic, heavy-duty transmission with tow haul mode Trailer tow exterior rear-view mirrors Automatic windows and door controls Front seats-40-20-40 vinyl bucket type seats, rear seats split fold down Heavy duty Black Rubberized floor covering Floor mats, front and rear Operators’ manual Jack and Lug wrench set Color: Red Max Vehicle Length: 268” Max Vehicle Height: 108” TIRES There shall be four (4) super single front and rear Mud Terrain tires, size shall be 335/80R20 22PR or equivalent, mounted on the truck via a wheel for on/off road application with a rating to match or exceed the tire rating. Tires shall be rated to maintain safe operations for the apparatus. One spare tire and wheel assembly shall be mounted on the top of the tank with the same ratings as previously mentioned. CHASSIS LIFT KIT Shall be a heavy-duty kit that raises the overall chassis 3 inches and has enough lift so the previously mentioned tires shall not rub or bind against any of the components of the apparatus. GVWR Gross Vehicle Weight Rating shall not exceed 18,000 pounds. 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT The vehicle shall have a 4-wheel alignment completed after suspension modifications, tires and wheels have been installed. Proof of alignment will be required on delivery. RUSTPROOFING The vehicle shall be rust proofed on the underbody FRONT BUMPER Factory Bumper shall be removed or covered by a heavy-duty aluminum or powder coated steel bumper and grille guard REAR MUD FLAPS The vehicle shall be supplied with mud flaps behind the rear wheels SKID PLATES The vehicle shall be protected by .25” skid plates from the front bumper area extending and protecting the chassis radiator and another .25” skid plate shall be installed to protect the oil pan and transfer case CAB STEPS The Vehicle shall be equipped with retractable, automatic heavy duty assemblies on each side of the cab LIGHT BAR Vehicle shall be equipped with a Federal Signal style light bar and external speaker or approved equivalent. TOOLBOXES/COMPARTMENTS/SKID Driver and passenger side boxes (above the flatbed portion of the apparatus) shall be 62” long, 21.5” deep, and 46” tall and have led lights, slam latch closures and keyed like all the other apparatus doors. All compartments shall have removable/adjustable, shelves. Two side boxes below the flatbed portion of the apparatus shall be positioned at the front the slip on unit and be 32” long, 18” deep, and 16” tall and have a swing out step to access the driver and passenger side boxes. Boxes shall have slam latch doors and be keyed like the other apparatus doors. At the rear of the apparatus, above the flatbed portion and facing the rear of the unit, shall have drawers that are 31.5” long, 9” tall, and 22” wide with slam latch closures, and keyed like other apparatus doors. Draft hoses (2” NH x 8’) shall be stowed (three total hoses) beneath the pump in the flatbed portion of the apparatus. All boxes shall be constructed of 3/16” aluminum diamond plate material. Wheel chocks and a place to stow them shall be incorporated into the apparatus. Fire pump to water tank fill line and pump bypass shall be 1 ½” line with a quarter turn ball valve Recirculation line shall include a check valve to prevent water from flowing back into the pump when not in use Discharge line shall be 1 ½” NH and controlled by a quarter turn ball valve A ¾” drain/bleeder valve shall be installed for emptying the tank NFPA COMPLIANCE Water tank shall be NFPA compliant WATER TANK SPECIFICATIONS Water tank shall have a capacity of 300 gallons Water tank shall have an internal baffle Water tank shall be made of polypropylene Water tank shall include a 10 gallon foam cell Water tank shall have two fill towers (one for water, one for foam) each 8”x10” Water tank shall have top mounted basket WATER TANK AND FOAM TANK SIGHT GAUGE Water tank and foam tank shall have clear water level sight gauges in the rear wall of tank FOAM SYSTEM Pump shall include a Scotty firefighter through the pump foam eductor or equivalent. Foam system shall have the capability to adjust foam percentages from 0% to 3.5%. DOT IDENTIFICATION LIGHTS All LED identification lights shall be installed on the vehicle as required by applicable highway regulations. This shall include all brake, turn, tail, and reverse lights. LICENSE PLATE MOUNTING An LED license plate light shall be installed on the rear vertical wall of the body. WORKING LIGHTS Eight clear LED body work lights with clear lens shall be installed around the perimeter of the vehicle. They shall be at least 50 lumens. Location shall be on each corner of the assembly to light the pump panel and the adjacent working areas alongside the apparatus. BACK-UP ALARM One back up alarm and camera shall be installed. FIRE PUMP OPERATIONS TEST The fire pump shall have an operational pump test performed by a technician with a run time of one (1) hour to confirm proper operations of all pump related components. COMPLIANCE The fire apparatus shall be built to the purchaser's requirements in compliance to all State, Local, and Federal highway safety requirements. ROAD TEST A road test will be conducted with the apparatus fully loaded and a continuous run of at least ten (10) miles. During that time the apparatus will show no loss of power, nor will it overheat. The transmission drive shafts, and the axles will run quietly and be free of abnormal vibration or noise. WARRANTY Tank and pump shall include a 2-year warranty. Truck shall include a 3-yr/36,000 mile warranty, and 5-year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
