Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) may require On-Call Security Services at various schools and offices on Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and/or Kauai. The services may be required during school hours as well as after school hours at any of the schools or offices of the HIDOE located on Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and/or Kauai. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish personnel, vehicles, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide On-Call Security Services. CONTRACTOR shall also provide assistance and advice to HIDOE administrators on any security matters related to this agreement. A. General Requirements The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the protection of HIDOE property and the personal safety of the students, staff, and other authorized personnel (hereafter "HIDOE personnel") while they are conducting official business on HIDOE property. The CONTRACTOR’s employees, hereafter referred to as Security Officers or “SOs”, must be licensed pursuant to Chapter 463, HRS, prior to assignment to this agreement. The CONTRACTOR shall warrant that its services shall be performed by personnel possessing competency consistent with applicable industry standards and that services shall be performed in a professional and competent manner.
