Services • Develop standardized survey protocols for waterbird monitoring across Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) state wetland Wildlife Sanctuaries (7 sites total on Oahu, Kauai and Maui) to assess species trends overtime. • Provide standard survey protocols for select wedge-tailed shearwater colony sites for 15 sites located on Kauai and Maui to assess species trends and reproductive success overtime. • Services include working on-site with DOFAW personnel at each location to develop protocols. Deliverables 1. Produce standard protocol and data sheet for each site. Protocols should be prescriptive and standard across all wetland sites or seabird colony. Protocols should include frequency, type of survey and locations on-site and type of data to be collected. 2. One Standard Data sheet for waterbird sites and one Standard Data sheet for seabird sites. Data sheet should be easily transferable to a database management system.
