Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will consist of the design of a video monitoring and access control system (VMACS) along the South Ramp facilities. Work will entail the installation of an estimated 150 access control readers to various doors, pedestrian gates, and vehicular gates, the possible inclusion of two (2) automatic vehicular gate openers from existing driveways along Lagoon Drive, and the addition of an estimated 200 security cameras. To support the VMACS, ancillary work includes the placement of new telecommunication and electrical ductbank/conduits, new utility rooms and monitoring support facilities, computers servers, emergency generators, battery backup systems, lighting, fencing, and new door hardware. Some areas may require hazardous material abatement, possibly involving lead and asbestos.
