Specifications for offerors desiring to submit bids for printing, sewing and binding the Journal of the House of Representatives ("House Journal") of the Thirty-Third Legislature, Regular Session of 2025 and any Special Session convened during 2025, based on "offset" printing. * Digital printing will also be acceptable if the quality can be proved to be comparable to offset printing. Samples of previous work may be submitted with the bid. 1 NUMBER OF COPIES The number of copies of the House Journal shall be 90. 2 ESTIMATED PAGE COUNT The page count per Journal as of the date this IFB is released is estimated to be around 1750 pages. 1750 pages x 90 copies = 157,500 total pages. The final page count will be provided when materials are transmitted to the printer. 3 MAKE-UP The work shall be first class in every respect. The paper shall be twenty-five-pound white machine finished lawbook: Twin Rivers Lawbook 25#, PPI 1180, Brightness 85, Opacity 81, or equal. Each page shall be 11 inches high and 8.5 inches wide. Space on the page to be occupied by type shall be 10 inches by 7 inches. Running heads at the top of the pages indicate the session and the day of session. All pages are camera-ready except for photo page. Offeror will compose the photo page from extracting photographs from digital images. The photos will be provided by the House of Representatives. 4 PRINTING The final printed sheets shall conform to the pages as submitted and approved by the Clerk of the House of Representatives as the officer-in-charge, and any and all sheets that do not so conform to the camera-ready pages shall be printed at the expense of the contractor.
