Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City anticipates that two contract security personnel will be necessary to operate the equipment, hereby called the Security Equipment Operators. One of the two security positions should be designated to provide supervisory responsibility over the security equipment operators, monitor the operation, and detain individuals who enter the building carrying a prohibited weapon until a Police Officer can be contacted to make an arrest, if necessary. This position will be called the Contract Security Supervisor in the specifications. The City prefers at least one (1) of the contract security personnel to be bilingual in English and Spanish. B. Hours of Operation Contract security personnel will be required to have their posts occupied and operationally ready to provide security from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and until 5:30 PM on Tuesday. Security also will be provided for Teen Court sessions on two or three Monday evenings each month from 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM. The City reserves the right to adjust (increase or decrease) work hours and/or staff as deemed in the best interest of the City. The Court building is closed during nine (9) holidays per year.
