The proposed system must provide the following: Free and Reduced database, with free and reduced application processing Online free and reduced application program Point of Service with ability to track free, reduced, and paid students Inventory Module Menu Planning software Nutrient Analysis software approved by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Centralized ordering portal Online meal payments and account history viewing Transportation payment system General Ledger The SFSB seeks an electronic Software as a Service School Nutrition Solution as an upgrade of the current electronic student free and reduced applications and database, point of service, and reporting programs. The current program is Harris School Solutions eTrition 7 as the primary point of service, eTrition free and reduced database, application processing, and EZMealApp.com as the online free and reduced application program. The web based school nutrition enterprise solution shall include a Free and reduced applications database, online free and reduced application submission, Point of service, inventory, meal planning, nutrient analysis, ordering portal, online meal and school payment program to be an optional module, school transportation module, and a General Ledger. Enterprise solution modules shall be an integrated solution where redundant data entry is unnecessary, and web based parental access will give parents/guardians the convenience of viewing their child’s meal account, having access to deposit money, and applying for free and reduced status.
