10.2 SCOPE OF WORK – The major items of work to be done include, but are not limited to the following: A. Excavate and inspect the subsidence area, while protecting the existing 60-inch concrete drain line. B. Backfill trench with specified materials. C. Place new hot mix asphalt base course material. D. Apply new bituminous tack coats. E. Place new State Mix IV hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavement. F. Dewater if feasible or install a water diversion for the 60-inch concrete pipe to allow access via the drain manhole. G. Enter the 60-inch concrete pipe to clean off sediment, minerals and debris from inner pipe walls around the area where the joint seal will be installed. H. Repair 60-inch concrete pipe using specified internal joint sealing system. I. Perform required seal pressure test by the manufacturer to ensure proper installation.
