The work shall generally consist of repairing spalling concrete, ground stabilization, and rock wall repair at the Makapu'u according to specifications attached, as quantified on the attached proposal and scope of work. Scope of work shall include, but not limited to, repairing cracks and spalling concrete stairs and sidewalks, stabilizing ground near undermined sidewalk, replacing sealant at stairs, and replacing missing rocks along existing rock wall (stones in the immediate area may be used), repair and recoat handrails, and other incidental work required. Base Bid: Demolish and replace cracks and spalling concrete, clean and recoat existing handrail and guard rails Additive Alternate #1 (Makapuu Lighthouse Trail): Repair missing rock from rest stop areas, clean and passivate stainless steel guardrails and handrails, repair trail barriers that have grout missing from tops at Makapuu Lighthouse Trail.
