The contractor shall provide collection and lawful disposal of the following types of refuse: • General Waste: o Regular municipal solid waste generated by daily facility operations. • Recyclable Materials: o Scrap Metal o Cardboard o Wood Waste These items are stored in large roll-off containers (30 cubic yards) at a designated recycling collection point (Bldg 3380 at JBPHH). The contractor is responsible for ensuring recyclable materials are handled separately and delivered to licensed recycling processors. Bin and Pickup Requirements Bin Inventory and Pickup Frequencies: Contractor shall provide refuse and recycling services as outlined in the attached service table and maps, including: • Kalaeloa (297th Combat Air Operation Squadron): o One (1) 3 cubic yard bin o Pickup Schedule: Twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays o Off-scheduled Pickup Service: Minimum advance notice of 24-hrs will be provided by the STATE. • JBPHH (Multiple Buildings): o Fifteen (15) bins of various sizes (3 CY and 6 CY) o Pickup Schedule: Weekly, every Wednesday before 3:30 PM o Off-scheduled Pickup Service: Minimum advance notice of 24-hrs will be provided by the STATE. • Recyclable Bins at Bldg 3380 (JBPHH): o Three (3) roll-off containers (30 CY) for scrap metal, cardboard, and wood o Pickup Schedule: Monthly, on the 3rd Wednesday o Off-scheduled Pickup Service: Minimum advance notice of 24-hrs will be provided by the STATE. Bin Standards: • Bins must be safe, serviceable, covers, transportable, leak-proof, rust-free, and visually consistent. • Required specifications: o Five (5) brown-painted 3 CY bins o Eleven (11) brown-painted 6 CY bins o Three (3) green-painted 30 CY bins
