A. Installation, maintenance, and system administration of the Department's Oracle Databases and its supporting tools (including but not exclusive Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Analytics, WebLogic, Oracle VM, Oracle VPN, Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle Generative AI Service, Oracle Digital Assistant etc.) This also includes working with State IT staff in the planning and installation of Oracle version upgrades and patches. B. Maintenance of Oracle Database applications including, but not limited to: 1. Troubleshooting and resolving time-sensitive issues through testing and interaction with users. 2. Analysis, including documenting problems and recommending alternatives. 3. Repair and subsequent testing. 4. Preparing and executing test scripts. 5. Maintaining and revising documentation 6. Performance monitoring, 7. Evaluating, planning and executing migrations and deployments as to applications built with Oracle products, and 8. Other miscellaneous system tasks. C. Planning tasks based on the work assigned and estimating costs to complete the assignment.
