The scope of the services required shall include, but not be limited to, providing personnel to supervise and operate all control points designated by the University of Hawaii, for the benefit of Manoa Campus Operations, Office of Campus Services, department of Auxiliary Services, Commuter Services, herein after known as “the University”. Personnel are responsible for controlling the flow of traffic through such control points, enforcing the University’s Parking Rules and Regulations, receiving and accounting for revenue and inventory (permits, passes, tickets, etc.) management. The Contractor is an enforcer of rules and regulations and has no authority to amend, modify, suspend, or otherwise change any rules and regulations. The Contractor shall assume the gate and parking lot operation utilizing the current policies and procedures for the University. The Contractor shall assume the operation of point of sale (POS) equipment at the entry gates, various gate equipment, and License Plate Recognition (LPR) equipment. Additional equipment may be introduced throughout the term of the contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper use and operation of all equipment issued through the scope of this contract. Any damages deemed to be negligent, or outside of the normal wear and tear, shall be addressed through Technical Specification 11, Liquidated Damages.
