1. Keep palms healthy and minimize conflicts with, and risks to, students, staff, and the Hawaii State Department of Education schools and offices. 2. Maintain the trees’ compatibility with facility use and function, including, but not limited to, proper clearances, while protecting the palms’ health and structural condition. 3. Be responsible for furnishing, arranging, and paying for all labor, equipment, tools, permits, military access pass clearances, and materials to perform all operations in connection with providing services as specified herein. 4. Perform arboricultural services in the time and manner specified herein, including providing appropriate palm inspection and reporting of significant safety concerns. 5. Use professional arboricultural practices that are based on the trees’ anticipated physiological responses, and correct problems rather than create new ones. 6. CONTRACTOR, together with their Qualified Arborist, shall prioritize safety while performing work specified herein. 7. CONTRACTOR’s Qualified Arborist shall be responsible to directly supervise all palm operations at all times to maintain safe work practices and adherence to tree care standards. 8. Services shall be in accordance with the RFP, the Special Conditions, and the General Conditions, AG-008 (latest revision).
