Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority is procuring a FRP intake and discharge pipeline segments for a Goulds 200 hp 3409/L 14x18-23 pump at our 55" pump station. The procurement will include FRP riser piping, elbow and eccentric reducer on the suction side of the pump. In addition, we will need an eccentric reducer and spool piece on the discharge side of the pump. The suction side of the pump will require the pieces to perform close to full vacuum (29.92“ Hg). The discharge side will require the pieces to perform at a pressure of >50 psig (pump shutoff head). Attached plans from Makai Ocean engineering that outlines the current FRP piping we have installed at our pump station. We need to duplicate this configuration to install an additional 200 hp pump at our pump station. FRP Riser Pipe (Suction Side): Qty.=1; Dia.: 30”; Length: 20.7 ft. (25 ft. minus 4.3021 ft); Flange: One side, 30” stub end flange w/ hot dip galv. steel backup ring in the middle of a continuous run of FRP pipe; FRP Elbow with Eccentric Reducer (Suction Side): Qty.=1; Dia.: 30”; Bend Radius: 45deg; Length from riser pipe flange end to center of dia. of eccentric reducer: 51 5/8”; Port: ¾ F-NPT; Port: 2” F-NPT; Eccentric Reducer: 30” – 18” with flat face flange; Length from eccentric reducer flange (18”) to center of dia. of elbow at riser pipe: 81”
