The City and County of Honolulu (“CITY” or “City”) Department of Community Services (“DCS”), is seeking proposals from vendors with experience delivering community-based engagement and multilingual language access services to increase families’ awareness of and access to early childhood services. The selected vendor (“Contractor”) shall coordinate outreach events for families who have children under the age of six and provide translation and interpreter services directly to families at each in-person event. This includes providing translation services for media collateral, and for early childhood or financial assistance program applications (“Project”). By providing translation services in a variety of languages, the Project seeks to support families who speak languages outside of English the ability to understand and access financial support and early childhood programs and services.
