The Work consists of refurbishing the existing 480V switchboard. 1. Refurbish the existing 480V Square D switchboard. Work shall include new bus bars, replacing fused switches with circuit breakers, retrofit the main tie breakers as well as modifying the existing distribution sections, re-haul of the existing modified differential ground fault system, and adding ARMS to all circuit breakers 1200A or larger. The existing switchboard housing to remain. 2. Reconnect existing feeders for all equipment connected to the existing 480V switchboard after the refurbishment and test the equipment to ensure they are working as intended. 3. Prepare, submit and pay for required permits – C & C of Honolulu, Department of Planning and Permitting. 4. Provide an arc-flash coordination study for the building electrical distribution system. 5. Re-certify switchboard for UL compliance. 6. Coordinate with HECO to confirm the incoming phases from the transformer to the 480V switchboard are correctly labeled and installed.
