Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. 33 Each Furnish and install Roadway Barriers, including incidental work, in place complete in accordance with the drawings and specifications, and as directed on site by the Officer-in-Charge. Work includes but is not limited to probing to determine the location of existing underground lines, grading, compacting, subgrade preparation, top soil and grassing to match existing condition or better. 2. Clearing and grubbing of the project site within the project limits. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and proper disposal of items that are indicated for removal or where removal is required to accommodate new work; backfilling excavations and voids left after removal with select borrow and all miscellaneous appurtenant work necessary to prepare the project site for constructing improvements. 3. Installation of new 30' Wide Double Swing Cattle Gate, including incidental work, in place complete in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to excavation and installation of footings, gate posts, drop rods, gate frame, gate stop, probing to determine the location of existing underground lines, all miscellaneous appurtenant work, grading, compacting, subgrade preparation, top soil and grassing to match existing condition or better. 4. Installation of proposed concrete transition to existing play fields, including all incidental work, in place complete in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to excavation, backfilling, grading, compacting, subgrade preparation, reinforced concrete transition, ramp and landing, making accessible walkway connections, topsoil and grassing. 5. Furnishing, installation, maintenance, repairing and the subsequent removal of various temporary Best Management Practices (BMPs) for dust, erosion control and sediment controls, good housekeeping, temporary safety fences, barricades, gates, signs and implementation of vehicle and pedestrian control; construction ingress/egress, sediment control filter at catch basins, compost filter socks, sediment containment device for concrete waste; restoration work, miscellaneous work and materials appurtenant to reduce dust, erosion and stormwater pollution. The Contractor shall be responsible to designate and provide a qualified individual to perform the duties, roles and responsibilities of the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) Coordinator in accordance with the provisions of the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Planning and Permitting’s Rules Relating to Water Quality. The Contractor shall submit to the Officer-in-Charge the name, phone number, mailing address, email address and current certification number of the ESCP Coordinator at least two (2) weeks prior to commencing any work for review and acceptance.
