Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work includes but is not limited to excavating, grading, filling, backfilling, structural excavation and backfill, scarifying, moisture-conditioning, compacting and performing compaction testing; construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls with and without cast stone veneer, concrete rubble masonry (CRM) walls, 18-inch minimum thick CRM lining, reinforced concrete stairs with galvanized iron pipe handrails, reinforced concrete accessible community garden plots, standard community garden plots, concrete walkways, pads, curbs, headers and mow strip; installation of 4-feet and 6-feet high chain link fencing (except for the 4-feet high chain link fence adjacent to community garden row “B”), chain link gates, connections to the existing chain link fencing and signs; City and County of Honolulu Class “A” and “AAA” Portland cement concrete; reinforcing steel; fiber reinforcement; low permeability soil; #3 crushed rock; PVC Schedule 40 pipes and fittings; geotextile fabric; cast stone veneer (moss rock pattern); moss and blue rock; 3B fine (ASTM C33, No. 67) crushed rock; basalt aggregate base course; sand; recycled plastic lumber; galvanized steel spikes, brackets and fasteners; and all other related miscellaneous work and appurtenant materials necessary to complete the Phase 1 NPDES erosion mitigation and related site improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications.
