Roof Cleaning o Remove all dirt, dust, loose debris, biological growth (moss, algae), and contaminants from roof surface using low-pressure mechanical means (e.g., air blowers, brooms, or pressure washers with portable water source). o No harsh chemicals or solvents may be used due to surrounding pasture land and environmental sensitivity. o Surface must be free of loose material and prepared in a manner acceptable to the roof coating manufacturer. Surface Preparation o Repair any minor cracks, seams, or penetrations as required by manufacturer specifications. o Ensure cement substrate is clean, dry, and sound prior to coating application. Remove existing roof coating. Remove the existing roof coating. Repair any minor cracks, seams, or penetrations in the cement slab roof as required by manufacturer. Roof Coating Application o Using Elastomeric / Silicone coating apply new roof using products and processes specified in attachment or approved equivalent as specified in writing by ETS. o Application to be minimum 30 mil thick or roughly 53sqft / gal. One gallon should cover 8’ long if doing a 6’ wide swath. Or 10’ long if doing a 5’ wide swath. Or 13’ long if doing a 4’ wide swath. o Roofing is to be rated for 20 years warranty
