The purpose of the Contract is to maintain the Kewalo Basin Harbor Diamond Head Comfort Station, Kewalo Basin Harbor Diamond Head Parking Lot, Kewalo Basin Charter Boat Building Restroom, and Kolowalu Park in good sanitary condition and repair. The Contract price shall be based on the services listed below. Services shall include janitorial, trash collection, and general maintenance services for the Premises. The work performed under this Contract shall consist of complete janitorial services, cleaning, inspections, repairs to the restrooms, emptying and maintaining all trash cans within the Premises, and other general maintenance work as needed on the Premises for the HCDA. If the maintenance or repair work requires specialized labor, such as a licensed plumber, electrician, carpenter, or other licensed professional, the Contractor may hire subcontractor(s) as needed. The Contractor shall submit a written proposal to the HCDA showing the itemized cost of labor, equipment, and allowance as indicated in Section 2.13 Parts and Materials of this document if a subcontractor is needed to perform the service. The HCDA reserves the right to purchase its own materials should the HCDA not agree on the costs of materials.
