Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Safety (PSD), Heath Care Division (HCD), is requesting information from qualified applicants to provide In Facility Hemo-Dialysis Services, primarily for the patients of the Halawa Correctional Facility (HCF), the Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC), and possibly for the patients of other Oahu facilities (these patients will be transported to the WCCC for services). The Department of Public Safety (PSD), Health Care Division (HCD) is responsible for the provision of health care to the individuals who are incarcerated throughout the State of Hawaii. This includes medical, dental and mental health services. The service provider shall provide onsite Hemo-dialysis services at the Halawa Correctional Facility (HCF) and/or at the Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC). As of this date, there are two (2) patients requiring these services. However, subject to the number of number of patients, this number may increase or decrease. HCF and WCCC will provide the treatment space, the water and electrical connections and other improvements to the space that are necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the hemo-dialysis treatment machines.
