• Assess Hawaiʻi’s urban wood system, including sources, flows, markets, and reuse opportunities. • Identify gaps, barriers, and opportunities within the existing and potential supply chain— from sourcing to processing to offtake. • Develop actionable business case studies and recommendations for municipalities, private enterprises, and community-based organizations. • Facilitate one or more Urban Wood Workshops or “Mobile Academy” sessions that engage experts and local stakeholders through presentations, case discussions, and site visits. • Build capacity among local practitioners (e.g., arborists, mill operators, woodworkers, community groups, non-profits) to strengthen urban wood utilization and reuse across the islands. • Share findings and recommendations through a summary report and presentation materials (e.g., slide decks, recorded sessions).
