A. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver disc pump with motor, complete, for the Department of Environmental Services, City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii. The disc pump shall be used as a direct replacement to the existing disc pumps at the Kailua Wastewater Treatment Plant. The disc pump shall be used to transport sludge, slurries, and other high-viscosity fluids. B. The following information provided are the existing disc pumps installed at the Kailua Wastewater Treatment Plant: 1. Brand Name: Discflo 2. Model: 604-14 3. Serial Number: 8240, 8241 C. Pump shall match existing suction and discharge piping centerlines and orientation. D. Refer to Exhibit 1 for photos of existing pumps nameplate. II. Minimum Specifications. A. Brand Name, Model: Discflo, 604-14; or approved substitute. B. Flow Rate: 800 GPM C. Head: 85 Feet D. Inlet Size: 8 Inches E. Outlet Size: 6 Inches F. Viscosity: 100 CP G. Specific Gravity: 1.2 H.
