I. APPENDIX A: SCOPE OF WORK Overview. To furnish and deliver aluminum sign blanks, for a twelve (12) month period. The aluminum sign blanks shall be used primarily by the Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), City and County of Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii. All goods shall be in new, unused, condition as specified herein. For the purposes of this contract, the Officer-inCharge (OIC) is Mr. Sean Barboza at 808-768-3631. II. Minimum Technical / Performance Requirements. The aluminum sheet and plates for the fabrication of sign blanks shall be as specified to conform to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Designation B 209- 68, Standard Specifications for Aluminum-Alloy Sheet and Plates. The materials used shall produce sign blanks that conform to the following minimum requirements: A. Alloy: 5052-H38 flat sheet. B. C. D. Dimensions: requirements as contained in Exhibit A drawings (see attached). 1. Holes - Two (2) 3/8" diameter holes as applicable, as per Exhibit A drawings (see attached). 2. Measurements - Thickness, Width, Length, Corner Radii and Location of Holes, as per the Exhibit A drawings (see attached). Alodine 1200, Chemeon TCP, or approved substitute, conversion coated finish after allfabrication performed to ensure coating of all exposed edges and hole sides." Drawings: The drawings attached as Exhibit A are to specify the size and measurement of the aluminum sign blanks. E. General Quality: All sign blanks shall be flat, free from burrs, and rough edges, degreased, cleaned and ready for application of paint and reflective sheeting material over the Alodine 1200 or approved substitute. F. Packaging and Marking: Each sign blank shall be slip sheeted with non-transferable neutral material such as paper, plastic, etc. Shipping cartons of twenty (20) sign blanks per carton shall be securely strapped to skids not to exceed 1,200 pounds per skid maximum: Each carton shall be marked with the sign blank size, twenty (20) sign blanks per carton, and the manufacturer's name or trademark.
