The Hawaii State Department of Health, Maternal and Child Health Branch, Sexual Violence Prevention Program is seeking the expertise and skills of an experienced Evaluation Consultant to assist the Program with statewide data collection and evaluation using an existing framework, providing guidance and expertise, and developing recommendations to strengthen and improve state-level Program evaluation capacity. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CONTRACTOR shall: 1. Be based in Hawaiʻi and/or Alaska; 2. Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health; 3. Demonstrate experience and knowledge of the CDC’s public health approach, violence prevention evaluation activities, and sexual violence primary prevention goals and objectives as defined by the RPE Program; 4. Have knowledge, experience, and familiarity working within the context of DOH policies, rules, and regulations related to purchase orders and procurement processes; 5. Demonstrate the necessary compliance requirements to contract with the DOH; 6. Provide a resume/Curriculum Vitae and a detailed description of previous projects and/or contracts similar in size and scope of proposed services in Hawaiʻi and include points of contact, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers for previous projects; 7. Provide three (3) professional references that include names, titles, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers; the DOH reserves the right to contact these professional references; and 8. Reflect professionalism, adhering to the Hawaii Law of The Aloha Spirit, Hawaii Revised Statutes § 5-7.5, in all settings.
