A. Helicopter services shall be provided for an eighteen-month period beginning on the official commencement date on the Notice to Proceed. Upon mutual agreement between the State and the Contractor, prior to the expiration date, the term may be extended for up to two (2) additional eighteen-month periods. B. The service will be ordered on a “call as needed” basis. In general, the service will be of the following types: (1) Passenger, Sling Load: Up to 3 passengers, sling up to 700 lbs & Recon (2) Passenger, Sling Load: Up to 5 passengers, sling up to 2500 lbs & Recon (3) Aerial Fire/Emergency Services: Up to 3 passengers, sling up to 700 lbs & Recon (4) Aerial Fire/Emergency Services: Up to 5 passengers, sling up to 2500 lbs & Recon (5) Aerial Spraying/Seeding, Etc. (6) Aerial Weed Control, cutting/trimming, etc.
