The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price purchase order to the successful quoter. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) has a requirement for Cerus Intercept Platelet Pathogen Reduction Sets. The platelet pathogen reduction sets are used in conjunction with platelets and plasma in an Intercept processing set. The INTERCEPT Blood System uses amotosalen, a well-characterized photoactive compound that targets DNA and RNA, followed by UVA illumination which irreversibly cross-links nucleic acids.
