Description of Services: A. Compensation Evaluation Structure/System and Benefits Plan Analysis Project Plan 1. Vendor to meet with VP & Chief Human Resources Officer and Regional representatives to discuss the integration of compensation programs with HHSC business and HR strategies. 2. Vendor to conduct a comprehensive compensation and benefit’s study on HHSC’s existing pay and benefits for all executives, directors and support staff. The study should include the following: a. Create a competitive salary structure based on healthcare positions 1) Conduct a comprehensive analysis on identified positions using surveys to determine comparable wages/salaries in healthcare to include acute, long term, critical access hospitals and clinics in Hawaii, West Coast, Mid-West, East Coast and determine appropriate compensating ranges. The analysis and comparison study should include factors such as organization size, organization type (public or private sector), types of services (i.e., acute, long term care, critical access hospitals and clinics), total number of employees, operating budgets and total revenue, geographic locations. 2) Data source or survey should be from reputable, legitimate and recognizable companies that produce health care related data (include IRS 990 data). 3) Compensation study should at least have four (4) sources and related to health care. 4) Compensation and comparison analysis should show the difference in salaries of the identified positions in acute, long term care, critical access hospitals and clinics. 5) Market research should include analyses on industry standards and compensation trends. 6) Based on analysis, recommend a salary structure with pay grades and ranges, presented in tabular and graphic form, to illustrate resulting relationships.
