Clearing and grubbing of the project site within the project limits. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing asphalt pavement, base course, concrete walkways, gate, railings,, backfilling excavations and voids left after removal with select borrow and all miscellaneous and appurtenant work necessary to prepare the project site in accordance with the plans and specifications; Construction of site improvements, in place complete. Work includes but is not limited to excavating, grading, filling, backfilling, scarifying, moisture-conditioning, compacting and performing compaction testing; construction of new asphalt pavement, permeable interlocking concrete pavement, base course concrete curbs and walkways, drive gate, concrete pavement for rolling gates, handrails for accessible ramp, pavement striping and markings, signs; and all other related miscellaneous work and appurtenant materials necessary to complete the site improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications
