Tasks Contractor will coordinate the Hawai`i State Poet Laureate Program by working in collaboration with the SFCA Program Manager to: Communicate event schedules for Poet Laureate Program activities to the SFCA and HSPLS Coordinate public engagement and community outreach for the program Prepare draft budget for upcoming year Provide occasional site visits as appropriate and available Maintain clear and regular communication with SFCA staff; attend meetings as arranged or required Contractor will work independently, with regularly scheduled reports to/meetings with SFCA staff, to: Liaison/coordinate with the elected Poet Laureate Prepare correspondence when needed Provide program oversight/evaluation/documentation Monitor that program activities and requirements are being completed; collect and file deliverables from program staff and participants Oversee and document program activities Provide occasional on-site visit support
