NONPERSONAL SERVICES AND PRODUCTS PURCHASE TO REPLACE TWO COMPUTER ROOM AIR CONDITIONING (CRAC) UNITS AT THE WEATHER FORECAST OFFICE (WFO) GUAM. THE UNITS WERE DAMAGED DURING TYPHOON MAWAR AND NEED TO BE REPLACED IN ORDER TO KEEP COMPUTER EQUIPMENT COOL IN ORDER FOR THE OFFICE TO CONTINUING TO ISSUE FORECAST AND WARNINGS AND MEET ITS MISSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK/NEED (SOW/SON).
Brand name or equal: Current brands are Trane brand and Data Aire Models, but other brands would be welcome if they meet the requirements of the SOW.
(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
