Specifications include, but are not limited to: GSFIC wishes to identify one or more firms to enter into Task Order Contracts (See Exhibit “D” of RFQ) for a two year term. At the end of the term and at the Owner’s sole option, the contract may be extended for one additional year. The Task Order Contract shall maintain the GC’s eligibility to contract for requested services, however, no actual work may be contracted between a GC and the Owner unless a project-specific “Assignment Order” is mutually agreed upon and executed. The Assignment Order will set out the specific scope of work, conditions for completion of the work, the time for completion of work, and the contract sum. In addition to construction services, the GC may be tasked with providing limited cost estimates, cost evaluation, value engineering recommendations, and technical input on methods of construction, materials, and other details. GSFIC reserves the right to competitively bid task order contractors against each other on some projects.
