Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Contract is to establish a cost-effective agreement for the purchase of vending machines and related vending equipment which comply with the GVRA Business Enterprise program (BEP) requirement authorized by the Randolph-Sheppard Act, and which will provide BEP a procurement vehicle to acquire the products and/or services outlined in the Scope of Services. Supplier(s) shall furnish snack, beverage, and other vending machines and/or equipment necessary to support GVRA’s BEP program. All equipment, management, and labor necessary for the efficient and sanitary operation of the vending machine delivery shall be supplied by the Contractor. All equipment must be Energy Star equivalent. All vending machines must be ADA compliant. The design of the Vending machine shall be modular, having the ability to incorporate new features as they become available. Vending machines shall have debit/credit card swipe feature in addition to change making equipment for cash transactions. All vending machines shall be equipped with credit card reader, bill validator (acceptor), and coin acceptor. Card Readers must interface with the Cantaloupe system. All items proposed must comply with current applicable safety or regulatory standards or codes. All vending equipment shall have the capability of returning change in amounts of .05, .10, or .25 cents as required, and have adequate change inventory for required returns. Suppliers shall be responsible for activating all manufacturer warranties. All warranty information and product literature will be forwarded to GVRA upon request. All equipment, products, supplies, and services must be covered by a warranty that is the industry standard or better. All machines shall comply with all accessibility requirements established by Local, State, and Federal guidelines. Supplier(s) is/are expected to be a fully authorized dealer/distributor for any of the manufacturers it proposes. Supplier(s) and its distributors must be able to provide service and timely deliveries of orders to GVRA ‘s warehouse in Griffin, GA. Supplier(s) shall take into consideration and comply with all current Federal, State, and Local laws, statutes, and guidelines.
