On a project-by-project basis, on-call artist(s) will be responsible for: • Concept Development: Collaborating with Planning and Development staff to design creative concepts that align with project goals, community interests, and location-specific themes. • Project Design & Implementation: Translating artistic concepts into tangible artworks, overseeing fabrication and installation, and ensuring the timely completion of public art installations. This may include collaborating with other vendors, site preparation, or project preservation. • Public Engagement: Depending on the project, engaging with community members through workshops, feedback sessions, or other forms of participation. This may include graphic facilitation of public art design discussions, such as community-responsive live sketching. • Maintenance and Upkeep (if applicable): Providing maintenance recommendations and assistance in preserving the artwork for its intended lifespan.
