Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. A detailed plan for work including document timelines to develop: a. The 2020-2021 Transition Plan that will contain standards and guidelines for transitioning into Perkins V. b. The 2020-2023 Georgia State Plan for implementing Perkins V. c. And deliver Professional Development associated with these plans to CTAE state staff; local district CTAE staff; and all other stakeholders. 2. Written guidance to State staff in developing lists of prospective participants for focus groups, staff interviews, consultation with multiple stakeholder groups and individual groups to provide input for public hearings during the development of the plans. 3. A detailed plan of work including document timelines to finalize the Perkins V Transition Plan and State Plan. 4. Preparation of a report summarizing key elements of the Perkins Act to meet the requirements of the Transition and State Plans. 5. Facilitation of public stakeholder meetings to be conducted across the state during the spring of 2019 and 2020. 6. Advisement to state staff in deciding upon the content and organization of the Transition and State Plans, in conformity with guidance provided by the U.S. Department of Education. 7. Prepare the final documents for submittal to the U.S. Department of Education according to the established timeline.
