Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. All openings in drainage and/or vent systems as a result of installation rough-in shall be protected with a test plug that is securely locked in place until final finished connections are installed. 5. All piping shall be run parallel to building lines and supported per IPC section 308 or other applicable code. Install as required to facilitate expansion/contraction and to meet construction conditions, allowing for installation of other work, including ductwork and electrical conduit. 6. All piping shall be routed above ceiling, concealed in walls, and behind furnishings unless otherwise indicated, all overhead piping exposed to view shall be routed as high as possible and tight to the underside of structure. 7. Water piping routed above ceilings and in exterior walls shall be routed on heated side of ceiling insulation and wall insulation, unless other freeze protection is indicated. 8. Sanitary waste and vent, and storm drain piping above ground shall be PVC with solvent joints. 9. Sanitary waste and storm drain piping below ground shall be schedule 40 DWV PVC with solvent joints
